I know what youre thinking, "A California Special II??? NO WAY!'' My car was
built in the San Jose Plant. It had a big sticker in the window that said
"Made in California, for Californians". My Grandmother sat on the showroom
floor staring at it for three hours before she bought it.
While not an officially licensed California Special, such as a '67 or '68,
its basically a California version of a Cobra II (every option is the same
minus paint, decals, and spoilers...).
The car was passed down to me, and is now my daily driver. smokin the tires
and breakin the rearend loose is still no problem for this car. It stomps
Rice Rockets left and right.
It's equipped with a 2V 302, C4 trans, Deluxe Interior, Fold down rear seat,
Air Con, Power Rack and Pinion Steering, Power Brakes, Remote Mirrors, Am/Fm
Stereo, all in working condition with 67,000 ORIGINAL miles. It even has the
original insulating felt underneath the hood!
