I purchased this car in 1998 as a senior in high school. It was featured on page 19 of the February 2000 issue of "Mustang & Fords" magazine...but by that time I had just sold it to pay for college.
Over the next 10 years I regretted selling the car, but resigned myself to the fact that I would never see it again. Recently, I purchased a white, 1977 to replace this one...but then, received the phone call I never thought I'd get. An old friend called me from out-of-state and told me "I found your old Mustang!"
So after nearly 10 years of neglect in the hands of the interim owner (he stored it in a cornfield for the better part of the decade), my wife and I re-purchased my old "II". We've begun saving our money to do a proper restoration, and have even taken it to it's very first car show!
PS: It now sleeps in our garage each and every night.
