Welcome to the Mustang II Network. First launched in August 1999, the Mustang II Network has served the Mustang II community over the last ten years and has quickly become the premier site for 1974-1978 Mustang II information and a gathering place for those who love and respect this piece of Mustang history. Of course, the site would not be where it is today if not for the visitors and members who make up this Mustang II community. You, the Mustang II enthusiast, have made this site a wonderful place to discuss your love of the Mustang II and it's sometimes forgotten history. We have seen many changes over the last 10 years, but one thing has remained constant, your respect, knowledge and enjoyment of the Mustang II.
As was mentioned, we have seen many changes over the last 10 years and the Mustang II Network site is no exception. When the site was originally launched in 1999, there was just over 60 pages of information on the Mustang II. Due to research and contributions from visitors, the site now contains nearly 1300 pages of information dedicated solely to the Mustang II. This is a great accomplishment and in the word's of a Ford Motor Company executive who said "you have more information on the Mustang II than Ford.", it has been a great honor to provide this information to you. In addition to text information, our image library has grown from 240 images to around 6000 and includes many exclusive photos that cannot be found on any other site nor in any other archive. The Mustang II Registry, launched a couple months after the main site, has also grown to an amazing 3800 cars, the majority of which are still on the road or unders restoration. Again, this is no small accomplishment and couldn't have been achieved without your help and contribution.
As part of our celebration, we have managed to "dig up" our original Mustang II Network site as it was launched in 1999. It looks much different than it's 10 year old sibling but it is interesting and fun to look through as well. You can view the original site by clicking on the screen shot to the right. Due to it's "age" and possibly missing code, some links and images may be broken.
It has been a priviledge bringing you the Mustang II Network over the last 10 years and I look forward to the next 10. There is still much information that will be added and I look forward to seeing all of your Mustang II's as they are improved, modified and enjoyed. Thanks for everything over the last 10 years. You all deserved a "pat on the back".
